- Write regulations for motor vehicle theft resistance
- Define standards for fuel economy
The NHTSA website has a webpage that allows you to enter your vehicle's VIN to see if there are any recalls for your vehicle. Here is the link:
And follow these steps to obtain the recall list for your vehicle:
- Navigate to the NHTSA recalls webpage by clicking here
- Enter your vehicle's VIN in the textbox labeled “Enter 17 Character VIN” and press <ENTER>
The NHTSA website will search its database of vehicle recalls and return a list of recalls if there are any for your vehicle.
